Boyfriend and girlfriend or King and Queen?

Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton have strengthened rumours that they could be our future King and Queen by being pictured gazing amorously into one another's eyes.

The pair were pictured leaving Boujis in South Kensington and appear happy and comfortable in each other's company, smiling and laughing despite having their evening interrupted by paparazzi.

A report in the Daily Mail points out that when Prince Charles got engaged to Diana, he was unsure if he loved his fiance, saying "whatever love means".

The paper confidently predicts that there is no such equivocation in this romance and states that the questions to be asked regarding this couple's relationship are: what next and when?

For the moment, wedding bells do not seem to be in the air, as Prince William will soon return to Sandhurst to finish his military training before joining a regiment in January.

According to the Mail, however, questions of dates and timetables are merely formalities, as there is not much doubt that this pair will be on their way down the aisle sooner or later.
