Cavalli tackles Tweedy task

When you are organising your wedding, it always helps having friends in high places.

This is certainly the case for Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy, who thanks to her blossoming friendship with Victoria Beckham, will have her wedding dress designed by none other than Roberto Cavalli, the Mirror reports.

According to the paper, the dress will cost a mind-boggling £110,000 and be flown in from Milan a day before her marriage to England footballer Ashley Cole, which will take place on July 15th.

"Victoria and Cheryl spent the whole of the World Cup together talking about her wedding," said a friend of Tweedy. "Victoria and Roberto have a special friendship, so when she and Cheryl got talking about wedding dresses, Victoria offered to step in."

Tweedy herself confirmed: "We didn't shut up - it was wedding this and wedding that. She was like 'Your wedding dress, it's got to be amazing'."
