Hurley rubbishes wedding rumours

Liz Hurley has scotched reports that she plans to marry in the next few weeks.

She hit out after rumours published in the Sunday Mirror said that the Austin Powers star was to marry Indian magnate Arun Nayar in the English countryside.

"It's not true, it's all fiction," she said as she attended Capital Radio's Help A London Child Auction.

"I'm in the country at the moment and I have about 50 helicopters circling overhead, but all I've done is feed the chickens and water the flowers."

According to the earlier reports, Ms Hurley was to tie the knot in September in Barnsley House before flying out to India to celebrate with Arun's family.

Barnsley House was suggested in the paper because, as one "insider" put it: "It's a wonderful, discreet hotel that is well-used to celebrity clientele and perfect for intimate weddings."

However, though she did not rule out the possibility of marriage at some point Ms Hurley was adamant that it will not be soon.
