Kylie waiting before tying the knot

Pop star Kylie Minogue has said that she and her movie star boyfriend Olivier Martinez have not yet made plans to get married.

Speaking to BBC America, the Australian singer, who has recently been battling cancer, responded to rumours that the couple were engaged by saying that they "haven't gone down that road".

She did suggest that she was ready to settle down with her partner, however, saying that she would "love" to have kids but adding "we have to wait and see".

Speculation over the pair's future has been fuelled by Kylie's sister Dannii telling the Daily Mirror that she thought Martinez would make a great brother-in-law.

While the pop sensation denied that there were any marriage plans in place, she had no hesitation in emphasising how solid their relationship was, saying that her recent battle against illness had created a strong bond between the two.

Kylie has returned to work following her health problems, preparing for her upcoming Showgirl tour, which she has described as a celebration of pop songs, her career and the relationship she has with her audience.
