Marcia's magic moment

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has spoken about the tremendous moment she experienced at her wedding – after the big day's nuptials.

Marcia, who plays prim and proper Bree Van De Kamp in the hit American series, explained the incredible feeling she had sharing a dance with her dad on the dancefloor at the reception following her wedding to stockbroker Tom Mahoney last month.

She said that she was overcome with emotion while in the arms of her father, Mark Cross, as she realised the significance of the moment.

"I thought I'd never get married so I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to dance with my father at my wedding," the former Melrose Place actress said.

The wedding, which took place on June 24th, was attended by more than 200 guests, including Marcia's Desperate Housewives co-stars Felicity Huffman – who plays Lynette – and Eva Longoria, known to fans as Gabrielle.
