Nicole's bouquet stays in Oz

Catching the wedding bouquet proved to be not so lucky for one lady this week, as she was stopped from taking the flowers home.

New Zealander Evelyn White caught the bouquet at the wedding of Hollywood megastar Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban in Australia. However, when she tried to take the bouquet home to New Zealand, she realised it was impossible.

Ms White, best friend of Keith Urban's mum Marianne, found out she had no chance of crossing the Tasman Sea with the flowers, as it would contravene New Zealand's bio-security laws.

However, Ms White was defiant about her handling skills, suggesting she would do it again if history repeated itself.

"What can a girl do when it falls at her feet?" Ms White told the New Zealand Herald.

When she learnt that there was no way she could take the bouquet home, Ms White returned the flowers to Keith's mum and dad.
