A millionaire has planned a unique anniversary present for his rugby-loving wife.Banker Charles Ridley has hired a host of former rugby stars to play a one-off beach rugby tournament in Kenya.
Among those flying out to mark the couple's silver wedding anniversary are British Lions skipper Willie-John McBride, David Duckham, Will Greenwood, Jason Leonard and Welsh rugby legend Gareth Edwards.
"It's an unusual gift for his wife but they're both rugby enthusiasts," said former British Lion and Cardiff scrum half Edwards, talking to the BBC.
"I think it will be a cracking party because knowing the personalities involved, they've not just distinguished themselves on the rugby field but are great people off it," the 59-year-old added.
The total bash will cost £100,000, although Mr Ridley will save some pennies as the party also marks his wife's 25th birthday.
