The Owen-ly one for Kate?

Speculation over the next celebrity romance and possible Hollywood wedding has been re-ignited after Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson were spotted enjoying a romantic meal together.

The movie stars, who appeared together in hit comedy You, Me and Dupree, were seen enjoying each other's company at the swanky Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, the Sun reports.

Following their rendezvous, it is believed that the movie stars left in separate cars but headed for the same destination – 27-year-old Kate's home nearby.

Rumours of a relationship between the two have been rife of late, fuelled by the fact that they have recently enjoyed a holiday together in Hawaii.

Wilson, 37, is one of the hottest properties in Hollywood after making a string of popular hits including Shanghai Knights, Starsky & Hutch and Cars, in which he provided the voice for a cheeky racecar.

He also appeared alongside Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers, although he may have to deal with some gatecrashers of his own if all goes well in his relationship with Kate.
