Newsletter ~ May 2006

There is an old adage that says 'spring is when life is alive in everything' - and here at OneWedding we couldn't agree more. There's so much going on at the moment, we've really had to shoehorn in all the updates this time. And what a month it's been - all those Bank Holidays, warm sunny evenings, and of course a plethora of great wedding dresses to look at...

Features Galore

It is spring-cleaning season, so we've spruced up our Articles section and added even more articles. In the last month we interviewed the 2005 UK Wedding Photographer of the Year, and spoke to him about how to get the right wedding photographer.

We have also spoken to one of the UK's top wedding cake specialists. May Clee-Cadman makes cakes for films, prestigious events, and maybe even you if you're lucky. She took the time out to give us Wedding Cakes - the Expert's View.

On top of that, you'll also find helpful new articles on wedding vows and Wedding Gift Lists. You'll need a whole month just to get through that lot.

New Designers

Spring has truly sprung and we've just added a few new designers to the site.

  • Couture designer Angela Stone specialises in beach weddings - so if you like to get sand in your toes as you walk down the aisle, these could be the dresses for you!
  • Also new this month is designer Ana Cristache specialising in designing and creating bespoke bridal gowns. Their style is always contemporary, simple and elegant.
  • On top of that, we have also added Ellie & Charlotte. Their designs offer stylish, feminine contemporary wedding dresses that are feminine, beautifully made and all hand-finished. Click on each designer to view the dresses.

You will see many more designers joining the site over the coming months, so there'll be even more dresses for you to view. Picking one will be the toughest job!

Online Poll

We also have a little addition to the site - a bit like a springtime lamb, if you will. Our online poll gives you the perfect opportunity to have a bleat of your own... This month we're talking wedding ceremonies - do you prefer the traditional church wedding, or do you prefer the more versatile civil ceremony? email and let us know. We'll see you in June. Happy hunting!

Best wishes,
The OneWedding Team
